Online Event: Have A Brunch With Miss Zyafirah

April 18, 2021 - 12:00PM to 12:30PM MST

This week is National Deaf LGBTQ awareness week, and we’re coming out with our favorite Deafqueer to celebrate with us!

Pour a mimosa and grab a scone, Sunday you’re in for a unique brunch drag queen adventure.

She’s hard not to love, and we promise you won’t be able to take your eyes off her as she shares her dazzling ASL stories. Her hands are on fire, she’s Miss Zyafirah!

Read about Miss Zyafirah here!

Miss Zyafirah wants to increase awareness of ASL in different communities, and one way to do this is through teaching ASL. Born Deaf, Miss Zyafirah lives in Colorado with her cat, Mary Jane. She loves to see people smile as she performs through her hands. Entertaining people with her craft along with good magic allows her to spread much-needed positivity. As a spiritual believer, Miss Zyafirah has grand dreams of opening her own mini-shoppe filled with her personally-created crafts.

Visually Speaking believes in supporting the Deafqueer community, and 100% of all proceeds from this online event will be donated to the Deafqueer Resource Center.
