The community-based Queer Newark Oral History Project interviews LGBTQ+ and gender-nonconforming people in Newark. The goal is to preserve the history of Newark’s LGBTQ people and communities. Join us for a lively conversation about the project and the accompanying Rutgers-published book.

Gary Paul Wright, Executive Director, African American Office of Gay Concerns

Kristyn Scorsone, Rutgers University PhD candidate
