Join U.D.T.J. in a rally and vigil for the 13th annual International Transgender Day of Visibility recognizing the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community.
Stay tuned for a historic moment for Delaware County earlier in the day.
Help us as we raise awareness about the struggles that our fellow trans family members and neighbors face, and advocate for them in a bid to reform society and empower their community — as it so rightfully deserves. This event will be a vigil as well as have a brief speaking portion. Feel free to bring flags and signs.
The event will start at about 7:00 pm. We will meet in front of the township building.
We have much work to do to address the issues facing the trans community and specifically trans people of color who are disproportionally excluded, underrepresented, and underserved.
