June Jezebels At 53 Above Broadway

Commonly used to portray women as evil and promiscuous the name Jezebel has been used for centuries to degrade female power. In this iteration of the Nasty Women Cabaret series we take the name back to celebrate not only strong women, but artists, male and female alike, who have gained notoriety for being oddballs, effeminate, sexually liberated, champions of LGBTQ culture, and supportive of the marginalized. Our Jezebels will bring down the house with their versions of music by the singers, songwriters, and performers who have shown that being different is something to celebrate.
