Online Event: Virtual Book Read: Freeda The Frog And The Two Mommas Next Door

Jersey City Free Public Library, Hudson Pride Center, and Word Bookstore present Freeda The Frog and the Two Mommas Next Door Virtual Book Reading, featuring author Nadine Haruni.

Freeda the Frog and the Two Mommas Next Door is a recent winner of the Gold Mom's Choice Award. When Freeda's tadpoles meet a tadpole with two frog moms for parents, Freeda teachers her kids the importance of recognizing that not all families are or have to be built the same: what matters is the love inside it.

After an introduction, the virtual book reading will take kids on a trip through Freeda's wonderful and colorful world (with Nadine as their guide!). At the end of the reading, a thoughtful Q&A with Nadine and the HPC and JCFPL hosts will follow.
