These measures were met with vocal opposition from conservative activists seeking to erase the discussion of LGBTQ+ people and issues from public life.\nAt the State BOE meeting on Sept. 6\, the Board will hear comments from the public on these policies that keep schools safe for LGBTQ+ students and staff in NJ. This is the last time the SBOE is taking open-topic comments this year\, so we must show up for these vital policies.
