Well its not because of allergy season! What allegedly started as a too-large shipment of bandanas has become the unspoken language of kink…the hanky code! In a time when queerness was legislated into secrecy\, the hanky code was one of many silent languages used to identify who we were and what we wanted\, and its only grown with time.\nJoin Mx. Maryland Leather 2023 Finn Gerhardt and Clifton Pleasure Club as they take you an exciting adventure of rainbows and rebellion. Test your flagging fluency in our Hanky Code Trivia Challenge\, or grab some art supplies and let your freak flag fly by making your OWN hanky code color in our Create-a-Code Custom Hanky project!\nFeel free to flag as many colors as you like\, but save the extra-curricular activities for elsewhere.\nNo hankies? No problem! Hankies in a variety of colors will be available while supplies last!\nHanky Code Trivia Challenge\nRules:1. Participants will split into teams of no more than 3 people (if not enough folks participate\, we can just have folks compete individually).2. There will be 10 questions total pertaining to hanky code history and the code itself. Questions will scale in difficulty\, getting progressively harder with each one. The host (Finn) will write the questions\, which will be hidden until the challenge begins.3. Phone Usage/Googling/Phone a Friend is Prohibited.4. The host will begin by reading the question twice. Contestants will have 30 seconds to write down an answer. The teams who get the correct answer at this stage will receive 3 points.5. Once the time has expired\, the host will read four possible multiple choice answers and the contestants will have 15 seconds to make a final guess. The teams who get the correct answer at this stage will receive 1 point.6. The team with the highest score at the end of ten questions will receive the coveted Golden Hanky! (A hanky will be awarded to each player on the team.)\nCreate-A-Code ContestFeel free to bring your own supplies and props from home!We will also have white hankies on hand plus fabric-friendly art supplies for folks to decorate their very own hanky! To participate in the contest\, you must fill out a small card explaining what kink this hanky represents. We will have three prizes: Funniest Hanky\, Most Creative Hanky and Best Overall.
