Her music is all-at-once deeply personal & socially conscious\, seriously funny & derisively tragic. She has performed with Neil Young\, Susanna Hoffs\, Dar Williams\, Cyndi Lauper\, Tom Morello\, Lloyd Cole\, and Warren Zevon\, among many others\, as well as appeared on television & in movies. Her latest project\, “F*ck 7th Grade”\, was a finalist for the Lambda Literary awards in LGBTQIA Drama category & now she is comin' all the way from California to do a benefit show for our inspirational non-profit organization & the beautifully diverse communities we represent!\nAll proceeds go toward helpin' our Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice create our new community activist center & safe-space for our LGBTQIA kids\, our intersectional families\, & all our marginalized folks\, connecting our disparate communities\, both locally & nationally.
