The transgender community is often expected to create their own spaces for free. It is within these spaces\, much like any community\, that we find our moments of peace. Trans Pride provides rest. \nIt provides connections.\nIt provides community and reminds us that we are not alone in our journey.\nThe transgender journey is one of reinvention. And in each version of ourselves that we share\, we are often met with resistance; small moments of true acceptance and understanding feel rare but invaluable.\nIn these small moments of acceptance\, we reenergize and grow.\nWe want to spend our time of rest this year in a wash of acceptance.\nWe will reflect on our growth together and celebrate each other. \nAnd we will bloom. Together.  \nJoin us for live entertainment\, resources\, lawn games\, food for purchase at the Mess Hall food court\, workshops\, and so much more!\n**COVID-19 response: To keep the safety of our staff\, volunteers\, and community members\, we will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken 48 hours prior event upon entry.\nlgbtqcenteroc.org/events/transprideoc\n\n
