In-person callbacks will be held on Monday\, May 9th (but we can work around callback conflicts\, should they come up!)Synopsis: Queersighted is a 20-minute play centered around LGBTQIA+ themes\, exploring both the joy and vulnerability in discovering one’s identity. The goal of the piece is to make queer narratives both accessible and educational for young people.Character Breakdown: ANNA - 13-18 years old. They are normally very amiable and adventurous but recently have become more reserved as they work through their identity. The character is written using she/her/hers pronouns in the script\, but actors of all gender presentations & identities are welcome. SEXUALITY - 13-18 years old. An extension of ANNA’s mind - the part that ANNA has not let the world see or meet yet. They are bold and compassionate. SEXUALITY is only visible to ANNA. The character is written using she/her/hers pronouns in the script\, but actors of all gender presentations & identities are welcome. Queersighted will rehearse 2 times a week at the Elks Lodge in Boonton NJ\, with a schedule created based on the actor's availability.
