The Parade of Beds allows you to promote your organization or business for FREE in a fun\, slow manner. For those in the need for speed\, sign-up now for the LGBT Days’ Bed Race where the winners take home new Schwinn Bikes. \n \nTeams of five are encouraged to sign-up now\, decorate a float on wheels\, step into some racing shoes or fancy pumps\, and race for the coveted winner’s trophy. Everyone wins! Well\, not really\, but we have a really good time!\n \nFour individuals will push one person sitting on the bed from the rainbow step off on Avenida Lalo Guerrero and end at the finish line in front of City Hall. Fans and spectators will line the street and cheer as the beds race\, sashay\, or simply saunter by to the finish line. Oh\, and when we say sashay\, we really do mean sashay!\n \nParade of Beds Competition: Enjoy the spectacle and parade your entry up and down Avenida Lalo Guerrero during the Parade of Beds. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded for best-decorated entries\, Best Theme Bed\, and Most Spirited Team. Your volunteers can enjoy the fun of a community event and not feel like they need to be Olympians to compete in a race. Have a decorating party.
