This is a great way to learn more about the organization and to be part of this grassroots organization. You can be an AGLA member regardless of where you reside.\n \nAGLA is a strong beacon for equality. It is an inclusive nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit open to all lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) people and straight allies. It provides fun social activities\, builds relationships with elected officials\, and works with civic groups on community service. For more information\, visit:\n \nagla.org/volunteer\n \nIn addition\, as ongoing community service\, if you can\, please bring along travel-sized unused soaps\, shampoos\, lotions\, etc. for A-SPAN (a-span.org)\, which provides life-sustaining services for street people.
