DESCRIPTION:Online Event: March LGBTQ+ Artist Talk With Molly Andrews-Hinders\nMarch 21\, 2021 - 7:00PM to 8:30PM EST\nMolly Andrews-Hinders is a performance artist\, songwriter\, creator\, and somatics educator. She is passionate about seeking and nurturing space for healing\, wholeness\, and freedom of expression by asking 'how do we create and nurture collective care when we are embedded in systems that are inherently unjust?' Most recently\, Molly created a soundscape for "The Week" as part of The Wandering at Maelstrom Collaborative Arts.\nShe composed and directed Emergence\, an ensemble piece exploring individual and collective healing in our dysfunctional world. Laced with dynamic harmony and ensemble movement\, Emergence was featured at Prop Thtr's Rhinofest (Feb 2020) and Cleveland Public Theatre's Test Flight Series (Mar 2019). She was lead artist and director for ENDependence\, a show that explored the profound effects of and possible solutions for the Opioid Epidemic.\nA partnered project between MetroHealth and Cleveland Public Theatre\, ENDependence had a tour in Lorain county in 2018. Molly has performed in many productions at Cleveland Public Theatre\, including Akarui\, Standing on Ceremony\, and Rusted Heart Broadcast.
