DESCRIPTION:COVID19 UPDATE: PLEASE CONTACT EVENT ORGANIZER TO CONFIRM EVENT IS STILL SCHEDULED\nLGBT YouthConnect Program At Hudson Pride Connections Center In Jersey City NJ\nEvery Friday - 7:00PM to 9:00PM\nHudson Pride provides a safe space for LGBTQ youth to interact with their peers as well as a place to interact with\, learn from\, and be mentored by LGBT adults. The YouthConnect program provides academic tutoring\, empowerment workshops\, job development assistance\, computer access\, meals\, a social support group\, HIV testing and prevention education\, and much more. Street outreach also helps provide community education and safety awareness.\nYouthConnect program members plan fun social events including movie nights\, ice cream parties\, & BBQs. They also learn how to be healthy and powerful young LGBT individuals by talking about safe sex and healthy relationships\nYouthConnect meets every Friday from 6pm – 8pm.
