DESCRIPTION:54th Annual LA Pride Parade\nSunday\, June 9\, 2024 - 10:30AM to 5:00PM PST\nThey held the first permitted gay parade in the world on Hollywood Boulevard in 1970. LA Pride is the original and icon home of Pride in LA\, and we are never going to stop celebrating and marching for visibility\, representation\, and our right to be out\, proud\, and fabulous!\nOver 150 contingents will march this year\, using the theme “Power in Pride.” The route will be along Hollywood Blvd\, and surrounding streets. More details about our exciting Grand Marshals and participating groups to come.\nWhether you march or watch\, you’ll be joining over 150\,000 spectators and participants for an epic day of Pride and community! Can’t get there in-person? The parade is also broadcast live\, on ABC7\, which won an area EMMY AWARD for its coverage of the LA Pride Parade in 2022.\nParade Block Party\nThey’re keeping the celebration going on Sunday by throwing the ultimate free Block Party adjacent to the Parade\, open from mid-day and going into the evening. With a performance stage\, large vendor village\, food & bevs\, pop-up bars\, and more\, it’s the place to be to after the Parade. Last year\, 35\,000 people enjoyed this free Parade “after-party\,” don’t miss it!\nTalent and other announcements coming soon!\nThey are now accepting applications for local vendors and LGBTQ+ nonprofit exhibitors.
